GEMS New Virtual Education Series

GEMS is sponsoring a virtual education series to celebrate the 125^th anniversary of the college. While only boasting a handful of majors, the Penn State College of Earth and Mineral Sciences consistently ranks in the top 10 in the country for all departments. GEMS would like to use this virtual education series to showcase some of the great work that is being done within the college and provide alumni with an inside look at new initiatives. 

We believe that this virtual education series provides a different type of event that alumni may be interested in joining. The first event will be on December 15^th at 7:00pm ET and will focus on Weather World, an Emmy award-winning show that offers long-range forecasts and unique content that answers the why, as well as the what, when, and how weather will affect your life.
